Makes 3 weeks in a row have been there for the fifty cent wings. So far I have tried 8 of the flavors and all of them have been on point. They will continue to get my business. Friendly staff, good prices, and great food.

Best wings and BBQ I have had in North Carolina!!! Also have awesome daily beer specials!!! Then to top it all off the staff is amazing, sweet, and always makes sure you do not need anything and that your glass is full!!!

Wings were pretty good and bbq was plain smoked and you add your own sauce. They were out of any appetizers that we wanted to order.

Wings are good and love the onion straws. If you go order the fries with pulled pork and cheese as an appetizer. Food is consistent

Not being from the area we wanted to find a neat little restaurant. Well that's exactly what we found!! First and most important was the food. We sampled the Wings and BBQ and were blown away!! Wings were cooked properly and had a special mild sauce. BBQ had a great smoky taste and the fries were delicious! Wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful with the menu! We will be back!!!

Food is delicious and service is great. They will even turn on cartoons for kids while they eat their fabulous kids meals.

On first visit here we tried the 1/4 lb hamburger with fries. I love hamburgers and I loved this one, looking forward to going back for more. Before leaving we were greeted by the owner which was very nice and made use feel very welcome. Service and everything was great, will certainly be going back.

Fantastic meal!! We stopped by after finishing up a weekend camping, and this meal hit the spot! The boneless wings with the Burn Ya Twice sauce were delicious! For our meal, we got the burnt end sandwich with okra and the Carolina gold burger with a few slight modifications (instead of onion rings, jalapeño onion straws) and onion rings as a side. The burnt ends were a little dry for me, but still had good flavor. The burger was absolutely delicious! The okra was wonderful, and the onion rings were too! Both were flavored perfectly! Just right. Our server Roxana recommended it and she did not steer us wrong!! It was so delicious! The flavor was so great and the burger was very juicy!! Overall, great experience! Roxana was great-- was patient in answering our many questions and made sure we were well taken care of! We will definitely be stopping by again after a future Grayson Highlands camping trip! 👍🏼

One of the best restaurants in Ashe county! The owner is an awesome person. So friendly and helpful. So are the staff. Really great service. The food is just as good as the service. I compare this place to Wood lands BBQ in blowing rock. WPF has Awesome smoked ribs! In my opinion this place blows Smokey Mtn BBQ away! I usually stop in for wings on Wednesday nights. If you want BBQ, Wings, or Ribs when in Ashe county this is the place to go!

Good Lunch and casual dinner barbecue spot. Selection of barbecue plates and sandwiches, chicken wings and really good sides. Friendly service, and good prices.

Usually good chow. Watch your wings. Teenie tiny sometimes. Don't get extra crispy, or will get dry. D&D

Almost missed this place because it is a small restaurant tucked up a hill, but I am so glad we didn't. The waitress was fabulous, she was on point keeping teas filled and going to every table. The food was good NC BBQ with enough on a plate to fill your stomach. We got the High Flying chips which were great. My smoked BBQ chicken was extremely tasty with a delicious sauce on it. The apples on the side added a touch of sweet to end the meal and the onion rings were really good. Everything was a great value as an added bonus. If you're traveling through the area like I was be sure to stop in. Next time I hope to leave room for one of desserts they had listed on the board.

Owner is Hands-On and on top of her game as is evidenced by cleanliness and prompt, courteous service.As a side note, the owner puts on a spectacular fireworks display every July 4th at Shatley Springs. They have face painting and other fun things to do for the kids as well as the adults, including s'mores and a grill.From Angus Burgers to some of the best barbecue around, When Pigs Fly some of the best food in Ashe County.

Went looking for this resturant turning down several to finally get here, up on hill in nearly empty shopping center. We 3 arrived on motorcycles an glad we waited to find the best lunch we could have asked for. Pulled Pork and baked apples an flavored green beans totally hit the spot..Asked waitress where the hammocks were located, we have none she replied but you're welcome to try our rocking chairs on the porch, lol. Totally enjoyed this experience here. She told me that they were moving to new location in several weeks..We'll just have to track them down next time...

Went here twice for dinner within the span of the week of my vacation. It was great. The service is excellent. Sweet Tea is top notch... as is their ranch and handcut fries. I definitely would recommend this place.

Awesome place to eat with delicious BBQ and very accommodating for our food allergies. I went there this past Saturday with my family and they did an awesome job. Kristen and Nikki were incredibly helpful. It was a pleasure to eat here. Their burnt ends are awesome and their brisket is super tasty. Thank you guys for a wonderful experience and great food!

We rode 250 miles to get there, and the daily special, the brisket, was worth it. We have driven all over the southeast for barbecue and this was one of the better ones in my opinion. However, the pulled barbecue tasted like it had sat around for a little while. We were there on Sunday and the barbecue tasted like it had been cooked on Saturday and reheated.

Really good smoked BBQ and friendly customer service! Prices were quite reasonable. Definitely a great restaurant for the area for locals and visitors alike. Their new location near Tractor Supply is much better than their previous locale. Keep up the good work!

We should have known when we arrived at dinner time on a Saturday, and we were the only cars in the parking lot.Hush Puppies were great.Service was great.Nothing else was though.

The BBQ is good and the staff were very friendly. They went out of their way to give us good service. This place is one of my favorites in the area.

2/3/18. Visiting when pigs fly of ashe. The restaurant is filled with a rustic and relaxed ambiance. I was quickly greeted and told to sit where ever I'd like. My waitress quickly followed up with a drink order. I had the pulled bbq plate. The portion size for a small was very generous and the pork was absolutely delicious! Great smoke ring, great rub, no faults. The sides were good as well. Hand cut fries, awesome! If you visit Ashe county and don't visit this gem of a restaurant, you are doing yourself an injustice!

I love there wings the half chicken is great also the burgers are the best .The spare ribs are so tinder and the brisket and burnt ends are better than prime rib!

We go to eat here several times a month! Wonderful, friendly service. They treat you like family! The food is awesome. We have ordered multiple items on the menu and have always been happy!!

We went here after a skiing day, the reviews are spot on! Amazing barbeque and sides to go along with it plus the staff are all amazing!!! Super attentive, our drinks did not run low. Great serving size. The pulled pork is worth going back to and the corn nuggets is genius! The hush puppies were superb as well. I will definitely be back!

My daughter and I dined there for the first time today and really loved it! The hushpuppies were amazing. I had the chopped pork which was very good and she loved the pulled chicken. I can't wait to go back!
